Valideo is a certification system based on a Sustainable Construction referential that applies to all aspects of a building and its environmental impact. This referential is based on an inventory of analysis points, organized into four themes and sixteen categories (for more information: click here):

Ongoing updates
Valideo is constantly evolving. Two independent bodies contribute to these developments:

• An advisory committee comprised of users (federations, engineering firms, materials manufacturers and producers)
• A committee comprised of outside experts responsible for validating the scientific and technical aspects

The framework is regularly updated thanks to the ongoing cooperation of SECO and the BBRI. The validation committee monitors these developments and ensures the scientific and technical quality of the framework.
